There is a difference between the salon you go to twice a year and the one you actually keep up with. The second one has to be close, and it has to run on time, or the good intentions last about two visits.
Because we are a short hop from Gateshead, we get a lot of the quick jobs: a clipper cut on the way past, a beard tidy, a school-photo emergency. We keep those appointments tight so they stay quick.

We are at Charlestown Square, Shop 2090, Level 2, right near Telstra. The centre has undercover parking with lift access, and it is a main bus interchange, so getting here from Gateshead is straightforward with or without a car.
